PSY 300 - Research Design and Statistics Description This course will familiarize students with common research designs and statistical procedures used in psychology, primarily correlation and group difference designs. Class meetings focus on ethically describing, analyzing, and interpreting data, while labs help build your research design, teamwork, implementation, and presentation skills. When you complete this course, you should have the knowledge to think critically about the results of research you encounter in your everyday life and the skills to perform scientific studies of your own. Offered every semester. Previously PSY 230. Prerequisite PSY 100 OR BIO 101 OR SPM 100
