PSY 100 - Introductory Psychology Description An experimental and conceptual analysis of the processes of learning, thinking, and perception, and the biological bases of behavior. The relationships of these to behavioral development, social behavior, and more complex phenomena of personality formation and abnormal behavior is undertaken. Required laboratory work involves investigation of the various processes in animals and humans. Students cannot earn credit for both PSY 100 and PSY 101 unless permission is obtained from the department. Students enrolled in this course will be required to attend the Department’s Bi-Annual Research Symposium held during the last week of classes. Credits: 1
