PBH 418 - PHR: Tobacco, Nicotine, & E-Cigarettes Description In this interdisciplinary seminar, students explore the epidemiology of tobacco use, related public health costs, and tobacco regulation. Students will navigate scientific literature on tobacco to develop hypotheses about the relationships between economic, behavioral, biological, sociopolitical, cultural, and environmental variables that influence prevention, dependence, and treatment. Students will design and conduct research centered on tobacco, nicotine, or e-cigarettes with an eye towards the policy implications of their work. Prerequisite PBH 354 /BIO 354 AND (BIO 210 OR MAT 216 OR BOS 250 OR PSY 300 /PSY 230)
