ECO 335 - Economic Development Description The course covers economic theories of growth and development. It examines historical and political context of the development discourse and the project of international development. Students will learn about the institutional features and economic performance of low and middle income economies. Main topics covered include: the role of agriculture, industrialization strategies, income inequality, migration and rapid urbanization, international trade and financial flows. Prerequisite ECO 201
