ECO 201 - Macroeconomics Description The course builds on the fundamentals of macroeconomics from ECO 100 and ECO 103 to examine the behavior of macroeconomic variables, such as total output (GDP), the aggregate price level, employment and unemployment and interest rates. It examines the debates on the effectiveness of fiscal and monetary policy, and the role of government in the economy. Prerequisite ECO 100 AND ECO 103
