AFS 149 - Africa and the Black World

Description
Explores the emergency of continental (“African”) and racial (“Black”) identities with particular emphasis on the roles of the trans-Atlantic slave trade, black responses to the rise of racial thought in Europe and the Americas, and the impact of European imperialism. Same as HIS 149 .
