PHY 324 - Experimental Design and Communication Description Physics is inherently an experimental science, so progress in physics relies on experiments to observe physical phenomena and test theoretical models. This course introduces several advanced practices in experimental physics. While many of these practices are technical (measurement design, instrumentation, data and uncertainty analysis), others are social (collaboration, communication, and ethical practice of science). The principles of experimental work are essential not only for further work in experimental science, but to guide theoretical and computational work in science. Prerequisite PHY 223
