DSC 115 - Introduction to Data Science Description The course introduces students to the foundations of data science. The examined topics include getting, wrangling, exploring, displaying and drawing conclusions from the data. Data ethics issues are also addressed. Data sets and examples are drawn from a wide variety of fields. The statistical program R is extensively used in this course to carry out all aspects of work with data. Same as MAT 115 . Prerequisite MAT 109 OR MAT 110 OR MAT 111 OR CPS 111 OR CPS 173.
