CNX 160 - Thinking How to Live

Description
We face choices about what to do and how to structure our lives, and thus we are forced to confront questions about what is worth pursuing and what values make a life go well. This course looks at these questions using tools from philosophy and psychology. We’ll discuss the nature of happiness, the idea of a meaningful life, and the very possibility of thinking how to live. Through this we’ll develop skills of writing, argument, textual analysis, and library research.
