CNX 147 - How to Write Home Description If, as Dorothy says in The Wizard of Oz, there’s no place like it, why is home often so complicated? Why do we feel conflicted about the places we come from and the people who live there? In this course, we will critically examine works in which writers address the various ways things like race, class, gender, sexuality, immigration, and war can shape our experiences of home. We will produce our own written explorations in turn. Credits: 1
