CNX 137 - International Politics through Literature Description International politics are pervasive, affecting lives in ways that range from the mundane to the extraordinary. This is as true in literature as it is in the real world. In this class, we will consider the ways that politics enters fiction, poetry, and drama to promote ideas and interpret historical events, as well as political science concepts that help us explain the history and narratives we’ll encounter. Students will engage in discussion and learn critical reading, research, and writing strategies as we analyze these texts. Credits: 1
