CNX 119 - Food Description Through our manipulations of food, we express our love, our anger, and our tenderness. Food is not only about nutrition and the need for sustenance; it is packed with social and cultural meaning. Today, as middle-class people the world over enjoy more plentiful and varied food choices, we’re also more confused about what and how to eat. Together we will examine how food helps us unpack culture and identity even as we engage with issues surrounding the production and consumption of food. Credits: 1
