PSY 356 - Health Psychology with Lab Description In this course, we explore the application of psychological theory, methods and treatment to the understanding and promotion of physical health. We also learn about the biological, psychological and social processes involved in physical health. The laboratory portion of the course provides hands-on experience in health psychology research and the writing of scientific manuscripts. Students engage in all aspects of the scientific process such as: literature reviews, hypothesis-generation, data collection, analysis, writing, peer-reviewing, and oral dissemination of scientific findings. Same as PBH 356. Students may not receive credit for both this course and PSY 205 . Prerequisite (PSY 100 OR BIO 101 ) AND (PSY 300 OR BIO 210 )
