PSY 352 - Social Psychology with Lab Description This course surveys major areas of study within experimental social psychology, such as social perception, stereotyping and prejudice, social identity and the self, interpersonal relationships, attitudes and persuasion, cognitive dissonance, social norms and influence, group behavior, aggression, and prosocial behavior. The primary framework for examining these phenomena is a social cognitive lens. The laboratory portion of the course will provide hands-on experience conducting social psychological research, with an emphasis on study design, measurement, data analysis, and scientific writing. Students may not receive credit for both this course and PSY 309 . Prerequisite PSY 100 AND PSY 300
