PSY 486 - Collaborative Research: Human Physical and Mental Health Description Students will work in research teams to generate a research question, design a study, collect and analyze data, and disseminate their findings. Research areas include psychopathology, health psychology, public health, and/or community psychology. Research topics will reflect student interest and the expertise of the course instructor. Projects use a variety of methods - including both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Laboratory research required. Students enrolled in this course will be required to attend the Department’s Bi-Annual Research Symposium held during the last week of classes. Prerequisite One of (PSY 201 /PSY 315 OR PSY 205 /PSY 317 OR PSY 208 /PSY 308 OR PSY 357 /PSY 303); AND one PSY lab course beyond PSY 300
